Post Latest dyno result

its finally done, and the graph show my latest dyno against base. They have chosen one of the worst base against the best pull yesterday (they were all over the place ranging from 160 to 182), after its done they tried to tell me my car made "good" increase with my mods, but to get the most out of it I need to change the computer, and the fact that exhaust only for looks and rarely make much power.......
The best part of the whole thing is they didnt charge me for the run!!
Anyway, I think Im done with Croydon and dont think I will be going back there again

Damn..otto! Sounds like they wasted your time. I still can't see why they are now running only in shootout mode?

It seems to squash the data into the high end thus not giving us the info we really want. Ie the accurate difference in KW..NOT THE PEAK!

FAAARRRRKKKK as someone else here would have said.

if I put my previous base dyno that I posted earlier (181.3kw), the two would be the same all over with barely any increase at all...
so basically it didnt make any increase with HT, popcharger, pulley and flywheel.....
wasted all my time and some money, and I still hv NFI how much more power I made thur these mods!! great work croydon!!

They've obviously stuffed something up. I'll ask around and see if I can find why they're only running in shootout mode now.

Doesnt sound like they know what they are talking about.

Did you tell them the 350z ECU is adaptive?

So the dyno is in the hands of amateurs - but what's your "bum" tell you about increase?
BTW, the flywheel wouldn't make for a power increase, just less mass to spin up to speed so a slight increase in acceleration rate.
I dunno anyone who couldn't "feel" the increase with the ht - I wouldn't take too much notice of the dyno if I was you!

Frosty, The flywheel should show gains on the dyno because HP have been free'd up.

Some type of dyno at the bottom.

That's right!!

You have to watch out now that we have our own special moderator, Matt might ban us!!

I must say though they (Croydon) sound like a pack of Farks who wouldnt know ***** from clay! If it were me Id find a new shop.

By the looks of it they just farked up the first run, the second one looks about right when you compare to all the others.

As always

If I ban everyone who'll I talk to?

Seriously though I don't think it's much of a problem. I can't judge on what someone from another country may think. I have to base my decision on what I think is acceptable in Australia in a social setting which essentially is what I see this regional section as. Just be reasonable, I don't think there's anyone here who doesn't know where to draw the line.

As for Croydon I'd never use them to do any serious work. I only use them for the dyno as they're near by. I've got someone looking into the changes to the Croydon dyno and why they're running in shootout mode. If I get an answer back I'll let you all know.

This would constitute a lot of swearing.

Fine by me.

SHIZZLE, I've been working hard, going to soccer training and to quote Mr Gump, "that's about it".

One thing I have done though was to install a hands free car kit for my new mobile, how scary was that *****. Didnt want to fark anything up so it took me about 5 hours!!!!!!!!

Oh and before a mod has a siezure about what I said earlier it shouldn't be interpreted as being allowed to swear or carry on in an offensive manner. There are kids (and easily offended people) that browse the forum so be nice and behave. /disclaimer
