How TF did we get here from where we started - Zs in the sunshine state.?

Must only be old retirees in their old cream Mercs or dolers in their Mokes or pushies.?

Wooder thort that there'd be heaps of convertibles up there.

Does anybody know how the Zs are selling? Love to see how they compare with oilburner8's and the like!

Nobody like my thoughts re pics?

Sorry Frostie, last time I was in QLD I didn't see a single Z! Had a fun drive around in a Toyota Echo though. Was like drivin a go-cart. Gotta LUUUUUUV the rental car!!!

Somebody left this in my inbox as a response to my pic suggestion. Didn't leave a message though.

Any body like to own up?

Just had a run with a ss holden and a late model sti.
Had to start from behind the sti, but by about 130 clicks had passed the ss and drawn level with the sti. Shutdown. Actually very surprised (pleasantly).

It wasnt me!

At last I had a decent run with something yesterday!

It was one of the lawn mowing sounding Scooby's.

SHIZZLE, it was right at Wickham end of the industrial highway around those long sweepers.

Kicked his bottom (cant say **** or Matt will ban me, "careful").

It was one of those moments when you know you're going really quickly but you just cant look at the speedo. Good show!!!

As always

My Zed's now done 20,000 and I now think that its going better than ever - I think that my old Sti might be a victim if I could get them together - good to see that you guys are seeing the same thing too - the Hi Tech really makes a difference doesn't it?

As for Zeds up here ice man, I see other Zeds daily as I cruise around the Coast and Brisvegas - seem to be quite a few. I travel HEAPS for work and don't see many at all in Sydney or Melbourne by comparison - much bigger cities of course but there are plenty of Zeds up here.

Yes H - I think this car is better suited to the more open "track" type situation. The scooby shines in the gymkhana-rally-tighter stuff. And because of the turbo blast/power to weight ratio it's a real hard-to-beat "billycart" sorter thing both as I said in the tight stuff and from start. Somewhere else on the forum I mention a bit of a run with an ss and a sti - and surprisingly I hunted both down - but I was pretty angry, and who really knows the ability of the other drivers?
Sorry I been so long getting back to you but I'm having pc probs - now I notice my arrows aren't coming up so's I can go to unread posts.
Don't pick a blue scooby, chrome wheels 2FA5T - he's got all my sti stuff incl bigger turbo, 20-sumpin lbs boost, etc.
Fuggen - I gotta listen to him harping every night for a drag - I'd love to sneak a blower on and drive over the top of him - maybe when they sort out the engine dramas and when my warranty with Nisshit is further expired!
Do you know where there's a couple of LH roundabouts? - I'm sick of drifting to the right along the link road - will it be orright if I just swing around them to the left every now and again?
One of these days Sunset's gonna pull up beside redlead and won't it be ON! Hope Max Dalton ain't around!

CHEERS,

FRERSKY

lol

Frostster I've been looking at the vortech kits for some time. If anything it is safe as houses out of the box. I've seen dynos close to 400rwhp when it's tuned.

Maybe thats what you're looking for?

ZUFF - scared as hell - noyhing but fights and bad reports from the other forums (USA) that i'm very intrepid about it.
This is the one I want - but even on our own forum - all the schitzo re timing and modules, etc - just feel that it's too early days yet.
But I want an Aus AGENT to do the work - not someone who is using me as a guineapig.

Still no pics - or resolution of the lionking thingo.

What about an expose on the names - ie:

ZUFFY
APSILON
OTTONOVE
YPWPAT
FLASHER etc.

How about an explanation and a facial?

SHIZZLE, I was looking through my Maitland office and came across this photo of my good self on turn 12 at the Creek about a year or so ago.

Yes, 4 cylinders and no my knee's not down as it was about the second lap and I was just warming up.

A Zed in the sand at the beach...not a sight i've seen before!

Could have been an add if you had removed yourself from that pic. Very nice location.

Had a lot of fun cruisin' down the beach. A first for me too. Got loads of pics there - lots of the car on it's own but I prefer the ones with Mrs. LK in them.
