yeah SGIO i got 3 differant answers 3 times i called
and was told i cant insure it unless i get an aftermarket alarm and GPS

uhh got rejected heaps cause of my age ..

but $1900 is good

i was paying $1700 for a magna insured @ 30k

so yeah 1100 sounds even better

i was quoted 8k for an s15 12 months ago haha to insure it for 35k

im in transport, have been for about 3 years
being able to afford it, hahaha....
i should be ok with repayments...

if not i guess i need to work harder ..

haha yeh thats it, cant afford it, just work harder !!!

how much tradein they give you for your magna??

insurance companies are idiots hey, esp SGIO.. i had a $30K Patrol for $2200 a year when i was 20, then it dropped to 1300 the next year, then went to a $60K Patrol when i was 24 and it went down another 50 a year??????? then for a Z they wanted double the insurance when i turned 26??? f'n idiots..

mate get off line and go get your damn car !!!!!!!! haha

haha yeah that sounds crazy enough for an insurance company

also i put in a claim once cause my car was beated up, when i got an alarm installed.. long story
RAC did nothing even though they advised me to put a claim in.. even longer story......
lost 20% no claim casue of them .. lalalala....
and they still havnt sorted it out, and this was over a year ago, haha

i stoped using them a year ago ... very stupid ..

i didnt trade it in, they offered 15, could have got 20
sold it this week for 16.7
if i didnt sell it i was trading it in on monday for 15..
lucky i didnt

anyway picked my car up about 4pm

very nice, very happy with it....
going for a longer drive tomorrow ... even better
stereo sucks.... i didnt expect it to be good... its also annoying how the volume changes when you slow down....

very greasy windscreen .. will fix tomorrow
dealer delivery.....................................
i was going to clean it myself anyway, so i didnt bother with an arguement.

so yeah, things to do this week

clean wax buff polish make shiny white zed
new stereo.. tint , order some black slimline number plates..

may even drop the oil and do the filter.. just cause its been sitting there for 6 months, and im sure nissan use the most shitty oil anyway

will let you all know what i really think sunday, cause im going driving all weekend....

i have already had a whole bunch of looks.. its great
i love it

oil , yeah i decided i'll dump it @ 1500, then @ 5000 again

number plates im still not sure if ill get personalized or just the

AA 11 WA ones

all i really want are black plates with white writing and slim ones cause they look better than the phat white ones

z and zed are gone .. that sucks
what about zzzzzzz
im sure thats gone too

stereo, im gonna get done this week, not sure where x 2 amps are going to go, i dont wanna take up any of the boot room as its pretty limeted atm.

ill rip it apart sometime this week and have a look

im just going something simple but good
front splits
rear 3way
1 x 10"
x 2 amps

i have decided on all gear but HU
will look more in it today me thinks

if you have all you 4wd stereo gear sitting around?? why isnt it in the zed haha

oh and i love the car
i can babble on for another 100 lines but i wont..
i love it no complaints
but the 29psi in the tyres from dealer ... im running my 18s at 38.. runs better than 29
and grease on windscreen

"if you have all you 4wd stereo gear sitting around?? why isnt it in the zed haha"

because from my 4wds i have 2 screens, 2 stackers, 4 pairs of splits, a tape deck, a 10" sub, 4 x 15 inch subs, 2 amps, a shitload of neons and perspex and i dont think it would all fit hahahahaha...

nah ive only had the Z for 4 weeks and havent had a chance to sort anything out really - i bought a house in April so all my weekends are busy getting the landscaping and spa and everything back to its pristine liveable state after the 1st 2 months of non-stop partying haha...

im thinking of installing my amps (BMF-1000D and BMF75.4) and my pioneer dvd/touchscreen, getting a nice set of Image Dynamics Horns and mids and an IDmax 10inch sub and getting rid of all my old gear... should have plenty of power for the sub if i run the BMF-1000D at 1 ohm... and the horns/mids should take care of all front imaging if i bridge the BMF-75.4 as well, im not even going to bother with rears i dont think...
I just can't bear to let anyone hack up my car just yet hahaha...

Hey guys. Checking the Perth threads thought I could chime in with some advice.
1. For insurance try an insurance broker - let them do the shopping around for you. There's a guy works at McNaughton Gardner who drive's a Z - could be a good starting point (No not a paid advert, I work for those "idiots" SGIO/CGU)

2. If you're looking for a good photo area go to A1 audio in Northbridge. They're carpark out the back is pretty good.

3. Zaino, Zaino, Zaino get the kit from http://www.eclipsedetailing.com.au/ It will be well worth the $250.00

Enjoy your new ride WhiteZed and see you on the bards nang!!! I used to only every hang around at 350Zfrenzy.com but there are heaps more Aussie's over here!!!
