Hey all,

I got a delivery from a supplier in the states, but they shipped gold instead of gunmetal that I ordered. So I have the gunmetals on order now, and am going to sell the Golds. Anybody interested? I had the wheels shipped straight to the tire shop. They fitted the Pirellis, and I left the car with them, came back, and saw it with gold, and almost had a stroke. So, they have been driven so far 6km back to my garage. They will be removed this week with less than 100km. I guarantee brand new condition!

Specs:

2x (9.5 x 19) .22 Offset
2x (8.5 x 19) .22 Offset

I picked them up today!

These look excellent on pretty much all other colors except silver... lucky me

 

Depending on the discount let me know.

I also have a Silver Z so I will need to get them sprayed.

 

djclarkson, why don't you post some photos first before you take them off

 

Ok... I am heading over to a parking place that has good light at night.... will get some snaps, and post them tonight or tomorrow morning.

 

Gold should be Great on White, Sunset, Black, Blue and Red

But is the Gold is Top secret gold?

 

I think the gold would be ok on everything EXCEPT Sunset?

BTW - 9 1/2 on rear will make it a wild understeerer?

Sorry I haven't managed to upload photos yet, I'm hunting my digicam cable. I took a couple of wheel close ups, and car profiles to show platinum/gold. It does look very 'top secret'... but thats louder than I like.

 

Man... I gotta stop assuming I am being sent parts as they are ordered. The wheels are actualy 10.5 + 9.5 with .22 offsets.

No luck finding the digicam cable, will purchase one this morning and upload today.

so with 10.5J and 22+ offset.... I guess you will need to roll your fenders then and the rear wheels might be sticking out?

The 10.5 don't stick out at all... they are a perfect fit. There is only need to roll the fenders if you plan on lowering the suspension. because I am running 295 on the back now, I have 30 profile tires, which gives a little more clearance also.

A 275x19x35 will fit in the rear, with a lower of .8".

I was very careful with tire selection this second time, and spoke to several forum members who have the sizes I am running.

My silver Volks arrive next Thursday Can't wait.
