LEMANZ-

There's new numbers for the alignment on the Z.

I'll know them in a couple of weeks, if you want to hang on.

Its worth noting that I contacted a dealership who contacted Nissan Aus and they said that the Nismo parts are only warranted in the US as we dont have a Nismo here.

I think others have found dealerships who will, but this was not the case for me.

Back on topic - David, what is the diameter of the tips of the APS exhaust.
Congrats on the upgrade BTW.

A pic of the tips from the rear will also be appreciated if possible.

KY350

Have not had a chance to measure the APS tips diameter but they look smaller or same size definately not bigger.

Maybe I'm lucky but my dealer appears to be mod friendly but did say that because my car is fitted with the Nismo S-Tune suspension and is stated not to effect claims for the feathering issue as per mentioned in the Nissan TSB.

PS: Should I paint my new CWest rear bumper fins or leave them C/F, anyone like to coment.

Personally, I'd take the bumper fins off. But, if you like them and want to keep them then I'd suggest painting them blue, although then it seems a bit strange to paint CF body parts

David, As i said. If you have the Sideskirt (half) and front lips painted like Grey colour, then it would be ok not to paint it. but u paint the whole lot. so it's just unbalance to leave the CF looks at the rear and non on the front and side.

So for you i suggest you to paint it. I know painting a CF is a wasted. that's why i went to Urethane version instead of CF. Because i had the thinking and decided to paint them.

Cheers

My dealer is mod friendly but if I had the NISMO suspension and it broke, they would not replace the NISMO part under the Nissan manufacturer warranty like they do in the USA.

Regarding the bumpers bits,
Stand a few meters back from the car and look at it as others would be seeing your car as they you drive by, then ask yourself does having black things on the back of your car look good? I dont think anyone could see the carbon fiber look material from a distance greater than a meter or two.

I wouldnt be advertising fake CF anyway, its like using wood venier instead of real wood and trying to pass it off as wood.

Aside from the shiny tank, that exhaust looks practically OEM.

Very impressive....I want one.

David, I think you should keep them in CF, maybe if you could take a photo to view from the side will be good. I guess your next mod will be the CF bornet and mirrors to match

Cheers

Thanks for the pic David - I like the standard pike look so the APS exhaust is not offensive in appearance and the cops should not give it a second look.

As for the bumper fins, leave them as CF if you have other CF aero pieces or are planning on getting some in future. You can always paint it later if you tire of the CF look.
