newly arranged stereo
allright
10 hours and 2 days later i have finished what i once started ...
no more radio from sub
no more engine noise from speakers
still have a pop when i turn off...
but what can ya do ...
the sub has been ripped out along with the sub bracket and replaced with a 11" x 11" x 6" deep sealed box
the sub faces up and sits in the middle.. no more bracket, and the stock sub grille sits back over..
sound is amazing 20 times better in the enclosure than just mounted in the bracket ..
i have not figured out how to fix the enclosure to stop it from moving, the space where it sits is all foamed and felt , so it isnt moving , but i still need to fix it ..
wired have been moved and both amps are still in the glove box
i made a shelf and put carpet on it and made it look good..
took my neons and leds out of the glove box as space is more limeted since the sub amp is no longer sunken in that little sunken bit in the glove box, will take some pics later tonight..
i only have problaly another hour of so fixing up some little bits..
that was my weekend .....

I think he also had the car on exhibition at Big Boys Toys - didn't know it lived at Joondalup Retravision though. If it's the same one its a helluva nice looking Z

yeh its the platinum roadster, 19's, supercharged, LCD screen moulded where the Nav door is, custom tailpipe things, different front Z badge, de-badged rear end, custom "BLOWN Z" Plates etc..
all in all a good $30-40K worth i reckon, depending on what the Vortech setup cost..
