Enthuz if your looking to replace your n-tech brake connector (part closest to the rotor) I'll take it off your hands. I have all the parts I need right now except for some type of routing to the rotor.

Dave, let me sleep on the idea of selling the ducts. I MIGHT want to modify them to better suit my needs. Then again, an extra $10,000 in my racing budget would be a major plus!

Thanks for the duct ends. I finally got around to finishing the installation. Thanks to CRayZ for the install tips. I had excellent results at thunderhill this last weekend. I made a few changes for my installation. First, my hose does not do the u-turn that yours does in your above picture. I removed that plastic piece on the passenger side and routed the hose in a straighter fashion to the wheel.
Second, I trimmed the fiberglass duct end by about 1" to give some more clearance with the hose and my 9.5" wheel at full lock.
It was a cold weekend but from what I could tell, I was running a little cooler up front. I just have to go back in some time and tidy things up and seal the ends with some RTV.
I'll post some pics when I have a chance.

Looks good. I like the way you routed your hose. It looks like it will not rub with full steering lock.

Just got back from a warm day (upper 90's) at thunderhill. The ducts worked great! I used to get a little fade on the back side of the track after about 10 minutes of hard driving. Now I was able to hammer the brakes all session long with no fade whatsoever! I wasn't able to measure actual brake temps, but things didn't smell as bad when I came into the pits after a cool down lap.

Looks and sounds great, Dave.

I'd like to do something like that too, but I could never fit those hoses in there with all my intercooler piping...

subscribing / keep us posted (we just chatted on the phone). the brake issues were/are frustrating enough to make me list my car for sale

then again, I'm probably also waaaay over-using them.

any chance of cooling to quickly with this design? I was thinking of doing the same project over the winter. Seems it could be done cheap enough just trying to think it through. Uneven cooling is the only thing I am concerned with.

Has anything ever come of this? I'm looking for something I can just buy from someone rather then having to goto a shop to fab it up.

i've seen atleast one kit out there, but honestly i have no idea who sold it...google maybe? but to do it yourself wouldn't take much more then a trip to Lowes or Home Depot. You may have to buy the intake plastic or elbows online or at a local speed shop (www.cdoc.com) but other then that its just hose, zip ties, hose clamps and patience
