Z's ran 4th & 12th.

 

What a bummer.....We def had a top five car this past weekend. We gambled on a pitstop under yellow...trying to beat the pace car. Everything was going great but we had to be almost perfect. The right side tires were on and the fuel was in....they crew came around to change left side tires.....jacked up the car and the tires came off. The rear tire went on and just as the front was about to go on ...the jack broke.....This delayed us about 15-20 seconds. The car went back up and the front was put on all the way.
The pace car made it to start finish before we were able to get completely off pit lane. We missed it by about 5 seconds....which ment the jack ordeal was critical.
It put us a lap down.
After that...I just drove and drove and drove......getting us back to 12th overall....but 1 lap down.
Very frustrating....but w will be back at VIR.

I wondered what happened. I was following along on line and saw you pit. Then when you came back out you were a lap down.....You were a top 5 car for sure. I hope you guys make VIR. I have made plans to be there.

 

Will also be at VIR pulling for the Zs...

On a side note, anyone want to meet while there? Back on topic.
