Snell Certified Helmet?
Sorry for the newb question...but how can I tell if a helmet is Snell approved?
I've seen DOT and snell stickers on some helmets, yet not on others that are snell approved.

All Snell approved helmnts have a Snell M or SA approval sticker. Most of the stickers are located Inside center rear. But they can be located any wear under the padding. The only place I haven't seen them is front Center.
The new ones are reflective orange.

Keep in mind every group, SCCA/NASA/etc, is different and may only allow certain helmets to be used. For the most part you can only use a helmet that is two ratings old and they come out about every five years. Also in autox you can use M rated helmets but most open track/road racing groups will make you have an SA rated.
