Hey guys...

so... I'm going out on a limb here, and I'm going to host my own lapping day. It is in conjunction with the TZC/THSCC DE event at CMP the 1st weekend of August, but it is not a PART of the event.

It will be an open-schedule type event. Instructors, Advanced drivers, and Intermediate (with some CMP solo experience) drivers only. Instructors will not be provided, however, I can arrange some one-on-one coaching for an additional fee if anyone is interested.

Basically the track will be open from 8:30 until noon, then again from 1:00 until 5:00. A checker flag will be thrown probably at the top of every hour to give the corner workers a break, and to force a break from driving as well. Otherwise, its a drive at your own schedule event.

Passing will be limited to straights only, and must be done only with a point-by from the car being passed (passee's discretion as to which side to pass on).

Prior experience will be verified.

Price is $175 thru the month of June, $200 thru the month of July.

This will be a very laid-back, but safe day at the track.

Hmm... even as much as I like CMP... I don't know that the track is worth THAT kind of tow. Now... to do an Asphalt Ventures event AND a TZC/THSCC event... I'll drive 500 miles ANYwhere

Stack's right. These guys put one one H&LL of an event. They always run like clockwork, professional, safe and really fun. And you can't beat this price for all-you-can-eat asphalt! Yum, yum...
