For some reason our registration system wasn't letting Drivers School people list the car they were driving.

 

my new engine has only 500 miles on it...I don't think it will actually be broken in by the time your event accurs. I really want to go also

Are we z folks getting free timing?

 

You guys are really on the timing thing!
It's great you guys got some Z's out to the track and I'll take the chance that you'll come back to more RedlineTrackEvents and give you guys your timing for this event. But please, let's try to get at least 5 Z's the track at all my Redline Events, and I'll continue to give the timing out to my350Z.com members.

Also, Sunday is wide open with tons of track time for any one that wants to get in on some quality track time on Sunday.

Yes, we run rain or shine.
Don't worry to much, it looks like we might get a little rain, but it won't be to bad out there at the track.
A little rain can be a good thing a the track.

If we're lucky we'll get a touch a rain in the morning and then it will all dry up in the afternoon.

 

saturday was a lot of fun! i was a bit nervous because it was my first track event. had jermey as my instructor for my second run, and he was amazing! good z turn out too.

can't wait for the next one.

 

so who's z was it that was stuck in the middle of the track until the end of the intermediate session?

i heard some z revving in the pits showing off his blow off valve and i said to my friend, he'll probably blow something at this track day. i wonder if it was the same car.

oh yeah, if the silver z in the novice session reads this, when they combined sessions at the end of the day you should have pointed me by in my miata instead of flooring it on the straights and having me on your tail at the next turn.

 

^ yeah I was wondering what happen to his car too. He was out in the early session.

Heres a few videos from the third session, which was my last, since i cracked one of my ROTAS from hitting the curb too hard in the chicane. Im pretty sure I cracked the wheel during the first session, but I didnt find out until the end of the third. My fastest time of the day was 1:32.589.

It was cool seeing that many Z's there, and it was nice meeting Laosifu (i think that's your username), and another Z owner with the supercharged redline.
