We're Running An Ex-Unitech 350z In Koni!

something like 550lb/in
I'm thinking its too soft for Mosport, but we'll try a bunch of different springs and see what the car likes.
Painted the car today at my buddies paint booth, he sprayed it for me since I would likely have gotten greedy on the clear and had runs everywhere! Came out pretty OK, not amazing, but its a race car right?

Mistico,
If you'd like to see the 17" wheels with Stoptechs, you can have a look at our car in Hayward, CA, that is, if you're in Oakland, CA.
Just PM me if interested.

Have you run the car with this etup already? I'm interested in running 17's with 355 Stoptech setup but I'm worried about clearance when braking.
Any info would be good.
Thanks!

I work in Hayward so that works. I sent you a PM.
Does anyone know know how much a caliper can move during hard braking?

Rich I'm going to be using real headlights, however I am going to get some decals printed for the headlights. I think i'm going to take a picture of the headlight from the most common viewing angle, and take it to get printed with the dimensions of my fibreglass headlight cover. I'll send you a few when I get them printed.
As for the long tubes we're working on developing some right now and will hopefully have something on the market within the next couple of months. I'm just looking for somewhere that can mass produce them for me.

The car is looking great. I see a corner knocked out of the aluminum bumper back-up, how did that happen, those things are pretty strong. Where will you race the car first. We went to VIR and got a first and second and a track record in the Z car and two firsts with the new Honda S2000 and another track record on saturday but lost it in sundays race to the second place guy. Perfect weather for participants and engines.

More news on this project later next week.
The body parts are off for the epoxy mold making process.
We have the front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, rear wing and side skirts.

Still working out the pricing with Nissan.
One drawback: Nissan only wants us to sell to motorsports customers. So the bodywork will not be available for street cars. Only competition cars.

The bodywork we are producing will be Kevlar with carbon reinforcement for rigidity where it is needed. The Kevlar is pretty darn strong, but will flex where carbon will shatter. And Kevlar is repairable like carbon. This will be very cool materials. I'm really looking forward to running it.
We should know this coming week who we can sell to. I'll be sure to post it.
