Default CT Auto-x and Rally Team 2009 Announces Track/TT Schedule

Its still early in the year but the Connecticut Autocross and Rally Team has been hard at work getting their track and auto-x schedule set for 2009.
For those that are in the Tristate or New England area, this is a great way to try you car out in what is was meant to do. No experience is necessary as we offer instructors through the day.
We have set up 6 track days so far; 4 at Pocono, 1 at Limerock in CT and 1 at the brand new New Jersey Motorsports Park (Lightning Course).
Here are the dates.
May 8th Pocono, North Course
May 29 NJMP, Lightning Course
June 18 Limerock, CT (no time trial)
July 20 Pocono, South Course
August 28 Pocono, North Course
Sept 28 Pocono, All Circuits, YES ALL CIRCUITS!!!!

Pricing is dependant on event, but I can assure you, CART has some of the cheapest pricing around. Plus unlike other clubs that have track days, CART offers a time trial at the end where you get 2 officially timed laps to place in your respected class. On top of that, we have whats called a team relay event.
If you have any questions, contact me, Liam at ldstang50@yahoo.com
We are not particular to any car, we welcome any and all cars so long they pass tech.

Just got the email the other day. These guys are seriously fun and the track time is unreal. The team relay at pocono north is so much fun it should be illegal.

Hey ldstang. I have a couple of questions. How early do i need to sign up? If my car is highly modifed who do i need to see about making sure it gets into tech inspection? I have read all the rules and have checked everything mentioned. Is that all thats needed? Thanks again

I did two events with them in 2007 but missed all last year due to a super lazy machinist. The team I was on in 07' ran dead on as far as pace but someone ran 6 laps. I am so in for pocono north.

eat rice, thanks for the inquiry. All cars will go through tech, tech location and time will be announced in the morning. As far as being modified, no need to worry, that will only come into effect as to what class you run in for time trials. As long as your car is safe and sound you'll pass tech. Just make sure your brakes are in good shape, fluid is full (bleeding them the day before is not a bad idea), and nothing loose is in your car.

1cockyz, people seem to forget how to count during the relay, but I think I have a 'fail safe' method to people in check. Use 4 strips of tape on your steering wheel
