i know... i learned it the hard way... harddrive cams will not work in a track car ! ha ha ha ! i got owned by sony....

 

one week away now.

I am sooo ready to get back out there.

For anyone else that is just curious, just come on out and hang around. Everyone there is great and it's a lot of fun just socializing as well as the driving. Just note..NO Alcohol allowed to be open until there is no one else on track (Cold/closed track).

 

hey guys, this will be my 4th 2-day DE, i did 2 events with TZC/THSCC and a 2 - day event with turn 1. can i get in the yellow group ? i just can't do the green class room stuff anymore... my unofficial time was right @ 2:00 ....

Here's the thing about this event though... we aren't running a "yellow" group, per se. Blue group will be a mix of intermediate and advanced drivers, and it is very crowded at the moment... 29 cars

 

^ no problem ! it is what it is ! i'll have fun either way. i just would like a better classroom experience. track time is fine in any group !

 

Yeah... the classroom issue is EXACTLY why normally we have two different classroom instructors, so we can individualize those sessions. I hate that we can't do it for this event.

 

Ron is very good about taking suggstions in class. After the first two, ask him to cover some of the more advance techniques and such. He loves to do this stuff on the fly.

 

Very true, and Ron will be made aware that there will be mixed experience in the class too.

Plus I made some changes on it, so you may have a really quick miata hounding you this weekend....and how embarasing would that be.

I've made a few changes since you have seen mine to. I shed a few more pounds and maded some changes to allow me to get out of the corners better (hopefully), pluf more tire. you could just about put two of those "Me Otter" tires side by side and not be as wide as my tires. 275/35 and 315/30 NT01s.

unfortunately I can't make it down until Friday afternoon. My kids have an end of school year ceremony. But I will see you Friday evening and we can party at Erics new place.
