Nice!!
I tell you what... I got REAL excited during the driver's meeting... sun was coming up under a completely clear sky... except of course for the front of clouds to the northeast LOL. Oh well, maybe we'll have better weather luck next year.
Can't wait to see the rest of the pics!!

Despite the weather, and a couple of unfortunate events I still think everything went as well as it could. I wanted to take a minute and say a few words about my students here.
Phil – great job on your first event. As anyone here can attest the first time out is sensory overload and learning anything is an accomplishment. The huge improvements you made and all the stuff you were able to learn and remember in just one day is something to be proud of. You are well on your way and I can see you moving up the learning curve very quickly. It was a pleasure being your first instructor.
Matt – I always think it great when a driver finds a new epiphany at the event. That last session with you was an absolute blast. The smoothness and realization of entry speed importance made that last session really fun, especially when we saw your FIL. It was great meeting your family and congrats again.
For those who made it, the Peter Krause talk Sunday night was absolutely eye opening. Having him explain some of the subtle nuances of the track he helped design shows that even after 1000’s of laps there are things you just don’t notice.
Chuck once again provided excellent class room instruction. I missed most of because of obligations, but the bit I caught was new, fresh, and fun to listen to.
I know I am looking forward to having everyone out again, and starting next year early.

Marty - it was great to finally meet you!! Thanks for all your help on Monday - especially during my spin coming off Roller Coaster!! I am officially hooked - I will be spending the winter gutting the car and preparing for the Spring.
I will post my in-car video on YouTube as soon as I finish editing it.
See you back at VIR in February!!
