Decker,

I realize you are promoting a new line from forge, but I would like to make a few suggestions in this thread. Show a few screen shots of how to use the data collected and the real power of the TM software. Examples can be

Time difference per section
Corner priority per track analizing
Vmin/Vmax Charts
etc.

Great point. The real beauty of the traqmate is the easy to use data analysis software that comes with it. Even a novice can quickly use the software to slice/dice, and compare laps with other drives.

Here is one screenshoot a took a couple months back from VIR:

If you anyone bumps into us on track (in the paddock of course ), and wants us to review their traqmate data with them, or compare laps just stop by and ask.

Great product. Used it in the Lambo this weekend with the pros @ Forged. I can't wait to see the data with Sharif at the wheel. Don't forget my order. Sharif has my contact info. Great to see you all this weekend.

Unless I'm reading things wrong, your Track Data II unit seems to be capable of reading out water temp. If so, why couldn't it also do oil temp instead of pressure? Here is a link to the Track Data II page of your web site that you were kind enough to provide a few posts ago. http://store.traqmate.com/ProductDet...uctCode=890031 (I'm not being a jerk. I'm really interested in the Traqmate and just want to be sure I understand what it will do.)

Also, where does the data (water and, hopefully, oil temp) display in the cockpit? The same display that shows lap time? Thanks for any info.

The relevant quote from the link, above, is down toward the bottom of the page and reads as follows:
"TraqDataII
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Allows you to hook up 4 analogs operating on 5, 10, or 20 volt ranges, 2 digitals, and a tach signal input to your Traqmate. It will also provide complete ON/OFF and RECORD/STOP control for a ChaseCam PDR.

***********************

Oil Pressure and Water Temp

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monitor when the pressure is dropping to spot any oil starvation problems before they become real problems, watch your water temps during an event or enduro, set limits and warnings."

Yes sir! The Track Data II has 4 analog inputs that allow you to pull data such water temp, oil temp, oil pres., etc...

The data only displays on the data that is processed through the laptop. It does not show up on the cockpit display.

Let me know if there are any other questions I can answer for you

But, the description of the Track Data II says "Monitor when the pressure is dropping to spot any oil starvation problems before they become real problems, watch your water temps during an event or enduro, set limits and warnings." That sure seems to say that there is an on board read out. How else could you "watch your water temps during a event?"

Again, I'm not being a jerk. This is a genuine inquiry and I'm very interested in the product.

Looks like you can display some values and warnings on the head unit:
