Yeah, sometimes we take the year round trackable weather for granted... Sucked for the guys today though... they got about half a day in before the rain rolled in.
Alright. Who's the bonehead that got his fingerprint on the Ferrari? It's so hard to keep anything nice.
Good eye, I completely missed that logo. But did you see the angle on the Blue Z33's rear wing? Looks like it almost creates lift. But he was fast so I can't fault him.

the "flat" angle is correct in a theoretical straight flow... but the car already modify heavily the air flow before it hits the wing... you cannot really setup that _properly_ unless you go in a wind tunnel.
Nice photos, did you happen to shoot any on Saturday?
Sorry SuperKool, I was stuck working on Saturday. Maybe next time, if I'm not driving myself. I might be going to Willow Springs on the 6th next month, so if you go drop me a PM and I'll look out for your car if we're not in the same group or back to back. Not sure whether I'll be going with NASA on the big track or Speed Trials on the Streets, they are both there on the same day/weekend.

Cool, thanks! I'll let you know. I think I'll be at ButtonWillow at the end of the month with SpeedVentures again. After that I don't know. You have a good eye for the on track photos. What camera do you use?
Nothing but Canon. Anybody seen the capabilities of the new MarkII SLR? Check out this video by Vincent Laforet. 1080p quality from a conventional camera = awesome possibilities
Yeah the 5D Mark II is nice, and probably something I would consider if I did it for a living, but this is a hobby for me. Also I've gotten spoiled on the 1D bodies.
