Oil Pan Baffles & Spacer???
Sorry if there is a thread elsewhere with more info, but just a couple of quick related questions.
What considerations would you want to keep in mind when building an oil cooler setup, while trying to keep oil pressure from rising/falling? Size of lines/cooler, type of cooler, etc. I have heard that its actually better to run a bigger one to keep oil pressure in check, and a smaller one is actually more 'work' to push the oil through.
Any need to upgrade the oil pump when adding that kind of oil capacity?
The APS oil pan seems to be the same price as the JWT spacer, would this not be a better option due to the fins and added baffles?

A fine piece, no doubt. But, at $600 it's a bit pricey.
BTW, the outfit that had the APS pan on their web site that I linked to in a prior post doesn't seem to exist. E-mails sent to several E-mail addresses listed on the site were bounced back as undeliverable and phone calls were never answered. An answering machine picked up, but a message was not returned. I found another place that had the APS pan listed on their web site, but when I called 'em I was told they no longer have the pan and it isn't made any more so that confirms what Z1 said.

Also, use a thermostatic sandwich adapter so that the oil bypasses the cooler until it is up to temperature (180F).
