Default Hasemisport Endless Z Drivers Take JGTC GT300 Championship

Drivers Mitsuhiro Kinoshita and Masataka Yanagida took the JGTC Drivers Championship in GT300 class with their Hasemisport Endless Z. Not bad for the first year Z.

Nismo took the GT500 class team championship. I'm not sure how points for teams are done as teams could have several cars under their banner...so although the Z drivers won the Drivers Championship, another team won the Team Championship in GT300.

Doesn't the Fairlady have the RB motor in it? I thought I read that it doesn't have our VQ.

Do they sell that JGTC body kit anywhere? That's the kit I want on mine minus the wing.

All season the Z has been listed as using the VQ35DE.

Are you sure you're not talking about the Skyline GT-R's that are using the VQ30DETT?

Thanks Jimster716. These races should eventually be shown on SPEED. Don't forget to tape the T2 SCCA Runoff race on tomorrow Nov. 23 at 1:00 PM on SPEED. TC's 350Z does very well!

DruDragzOn: No, that is the Fairlady GT. The front and rear of the car is tubeframed and the bodywork that sits on it is either FRP or sheet metal. It is also a widebody front and rear however the airflow off the rear wasn't doing so good so they added an chunky square peice which realy did destroy the look, but who cares when your winning.

mcclaskz: jimster is right, Nissan isn't racing the RB at any level in the JGTC. In fact the Skyline's changed over halfway through last year. The Z is running the HKS built GT race engine. I would imagine Hasemi has further modified it and runs a restrictor plate to bring the HP down but that engine produces around 400bhp NA.

That's amazing work for those guys. It's really dificult to come out and win first year competing. They didn't have many wins but stayed consistently at the top and that was enough to grab the championship. Now with a full off-season to test I can't wait to see what they'll be able to do! Tonight is the first JGTC race on speed!
