Default Gtech Pro SS or RS experiences as AX aid?

Been seeing their adds for this 10Hz GPS/accelerometer integrated device and I'm wondering if this would be a little tool to help me decipher and improve my autocross performance (or lack thereof ). Any fellow 350Z AX'ers have experience using one of these and want to share? Thanks, Rich

I use the older GTechPro RR (accelerometer) and in combination with the software I wrote (AXAnalyst), I've been able to find and exorcise quite a few of my bad habits since I wrote the software to exaggerate both good and bad driving habits.

I'm going to have to get one of the newer ones and see how they work.

Just remember that they aren't the only ones running 10 hz.

We now have 8 units in national AutoX winner cars

I got one of the new GTechPro RR Fanatic to see how it work work for Autocross.

In short -- it's a non-starter. You need to define the track before you run, which may be possible when walking, but that means rigging up another way of powering that doesn't require your car. It should be OK for any track event, but for autocross it's not something that I would recommend.
