No, get something SA2010. You seem to want to drift, autocross and maybe get on the track. Get something you can use with any group, no everyone will accept a motorcycle helmet.

thanks
Who freaking cares how it looks on your head, you are pretty much covered up while in the car. Decals or paint can be used to make your helmet look pimp or JDM tite yo later on. Just buy the helmet that fits your head the best!!!!!!!!

^^you sure that's the G-Force pro eliminator? cause that looks sick! ....for how much it costs
It matters because i'll be trolling around with the helmet on like Stig.
Is the top part of your visor pretty close to your eye brow level?
thanks for da pics

The visor is about 1 1/2" - 2" above my brow but has a tinted edge that makes it look lower. It's been a good helmet for the 3 years I have owned it. The only thing I wish it had was an aero lip. When I had a close roof it was fine, but with an open cockpit things get rough above 120. Bought it for $199 on sale.
Edit - I would stay away from a black helmet if you are in a warmer area. Having the sun beat down on you in black can be rough. I regret buying a black driving suit just for that reason. My next one will be blue or similar color.

I bought my HJC AR10 SA2005 helmet from Soloracer.com for $299 a couple years ago. I have been very happy with this helmet. I have used it for drag racing in my Mustang as well as HPDE in my 350Z.
