I took a quick look at the information on your site but was unable to determine what is the difference between advanced and intermediate. Is it level of driving experience or level of car prep?

Also, is the prize money already set or is it going to be determined by the number of entrants?

 

Great questions.

1) Cash prizes are predetermined, however the sponsor prizes will accumulate as we fill the vendor and sponsor slots for the event.

2) Drivers who have ever qualified or ran in D1, Formula D, or finished 1st through 3rd in Formula D ProAm are not permitted to register. Also AWD and 4WD vehicles are required to enter the Advanced classes. These are the only stipulations we have for which classes entrants can register for. The track is Horse Thief Mile at Willow Springs Raceway in Rosamond. It is a 1 mile long course (view track layout at http://www.thoroughconcepts.com/competition-signup/). Day 1 will be qualifying, with final qualifying and competition on Day 2.
