Default Building spec 350z

I was shapp[y to hear the other day of a spec 350z series being started.
I've been tracking my car since 2008. I'd like to get try and prep my car to race a tthis level.
Of the people that are serioisly doing this, would you have an objection to a push button style sfifter as clutch.
I used to race cars but was recently wounded. I dont have much use of my right arm so a button clutch might work for me. I can still operate clutch with my left leg and my recovery should be as such that im able to modulate gas abnd brake and hopefully heel toe at one point.
I noticed there is another threaded started her on something similar.
Are you building your cars for the maximim allowed or are you doing what you think is a necesity

Very glad to see you posting again, sir. I had heard through the grapevine of you being wounded (and saw the news video).

There is a few that plan to go all out already. There isn't much room for expansive thought here. Unlike SCCA, there is spec shocks and all.

I would just build an automatic with a shift kit for now. Just make sure your allowed to race an auto, the rules don't say you can't.

Most sanctioning bodies do have provisions for accessibility. It’s unusually not in the Class rule book, but listed in the General Competition Rules (GRC). The Regional directors also have the ability to make concessions. Currently we have a couple of very good drivers who have such concessions, including Drew Ewing who drives in GTS and is quite fast.

Overall though I wish you the best recovery possible and would love to see you out there.
