C5 Z06 heading into turn 1 at Summit Main....instructors group from Saturday:
Guy was shaken up, but otherwise fine. He did take a face full of glass, though...didn't have his visor down.

We drove the mountains today and my wife kept saying, "I'm just worried that we'll come around one of these blind curves and someone will cross the yellow."
My reply was, "Honey, I'm paying attention to the shoulder that I have available and not overdriving my ability to react, brake, and get out of the way. What I'm really worried about is a deer jumping out of the woods when we're cooking down one of these straight aways."
Her response? She hits me and says, "Thanks a lot as if I wasn't already scared to death."
Should I show her this video and really get myself in trouble?

That guy is very lucky. If that had been a buck with antlers and had been a foot further over, that may have been a snuff film. Did you see the deer's head inside the car in the slo-mo?

First words out of the dudes mouth when I walked over to him after making sure he was alright......."not worried about the car....worried about wife's reaction". True story.
Posted it on the book....a buddy of mine de-friended me so his wife wouldn't see the video. He runs formula cars at the same track. That's possibly a fatal impact in some formula cars...

Sparkle, funny thing is, there is about 30-40k people there for hyperfest. It's in the foothills of WV....there are deer EVERYWHERE. Also, it is among the nations capitals for pick-up trucks with rifle racks in the rear window. You can pretty much count on seeing a deer at some point over the weekend on a race weekend.
