removing steering lock

Default removing steering lock

Anyone done this or know what part of the manual. I have been searching the manual but nothing. I am getting rind of using a key and need to remove the steering lock, Thanks for any help. Track only car

I'm not entirely sure if it's applicable to 350Z but if you check out the 370z forums DIY section there are a couple of posts about bypassing or removing the steering lock. Z34s seem to have had a rash of failures in the last year or so.

isnt the steering lock just a sliding bolt attached to the ignition cylinder which can by cut?
