Nismo 370Z 25H Thunderhill photo (video to come)
Put this 370Z Nismo 5th in class, 19th overall last weekend at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. We held P3 several times and ran as high as 11th overall but a couple of the drivers in our car had little race incidents so we fell back in the end. Bummer since we had it going pretty good.
The cars are based on the stock 370Z Nismo, with UpRev tune, Berk Technology test pipes, Enkei lightweight wheels and OS Giken diff. APR splitter and a World Challenge GTC300 rear wing tops it off. NissanRaceshop.com was a big supporter to make this race happen for me so big thanks to them.
Very clean and sweet builds. We ran a 1.55 in practice before the race but for the 25H you're supposed to make the car last and get your laps going without abusing the car so we kept it at 1.57 and when track temps went down 1.58-1.59 as grip decreased. Usually brake pads need replacement if you brake mega late every turn and you can extend fuel range and get a couple of more laps between pitstops if you pitch up to 5th gear here and there instead of running 4th gear far up into redline (still made 1.58 with consverative driving like that). The plan almost worked out if all my co-drivers would have kept it clean the entire time. We'll get it next time.
A few pics. We have extremely nice Replay XD video of one of the team cars chasing the other that I will post soon.
I also have some nice interior shots and some detail stuff to share, enjoy these in the meantime!

Interior on the brand new race car looked super nice before the race.
Paddock pitstop for rain tires but the CA Sport crew stood up to the conditions and got on with the program.
