Question Racing Suspensions

What kind of suspension setups do JGTC cars use?
The wheels are usually positioned at a height that makes it almost impossible to imagine any springs or shocks in the space at all! The Nismo R34 GTR is a prime example of how severe a drop these cars have. Where the tops of the tires are practically ABOVE hood level.

This image gives some clues, but I'm not sure what I'm looking at.

That car had a double a-arm pushrod suspension. The same type most sports cars and prototypes use.
