The "carbon look" that Aerocatch uses is basically an carbon fiber image transferred onto the regular latches. It is not intended to be a perfect match for any carbon fiber hood, but does provide an available option for those who want something different.

I am very interested in a set of these, I prefer the set with the locks but I am curious what the locks and locking mechanism are made of? Stainless perhaps? To prevent rusting? Thank you

Hey, just sold the last set of locking but will have some more coming in soon. The locking mechanism is stainless but I believe the top fasteners are just steel with a black paint which over an extended period of time they tend to get a little surface rust. The cars we have them on going on 3+ years don't have any rust. The mounting hardware is easily replaceable at any local hardware store though.
