Not sure if this has been addressed or not since I haven't read all 18 pages, but will this work for FI guys with an intercooler? I can't tell how far back it mounts.

I'd like instructions as well please and if it's quite simple to install, I think I'll go ahead and order 1. Thanks

As long as you have about 12 inches from the tip of the bumper back, you should have enough room to install it. Otherwise it may just poke out the front a little when retracted. If anyone else needs instructions please pm me your email.

Ok I'll have to check that out. If it will fit than I'll be ordering one. I'm moving to New Jersey next month and they require a front plate. What does this mount to exactly, crash beam or bumper itself?

If anybody has one of these with FI, or more specifically the Vortech supercharger's intercooler, please let me know as it would leave out the guess work.

I talked to one of my techs, he said if you have a front mount, you probably won't be able to mount it. For cars without, you can usually attach it to the support beam if you're willing to make or modify a bracket. This unit is not too difficult to install, sometimes it just takes a little creativity.

I read this'll work with most front bumpers, but will it work with the nismo V3 front bumper?

Has anyone installed this on a G35 with a Top secret bumper and APS Extreme intercooler?

I am in so cal, how much would your shop charge for installation?

It looks like the grill design would get in the way of a straight up bolt on install, but any good body shop could make it work if you don't mind a little bumper modification. Otherwise, it would need to be mounted off to one side, and that's if it will fit.

I don't know if anyone has tried it with that bumper and intercooler combo, but most likely, if you have a front mount, you won't have space for it to retract. I would need to see the car in order to give you a labor quote, but I don't think its gonna work with an intercooler.

Nice pic, but I actually need to see the car in person so we can take some measurement. If you're in LA, you're only about 30 minutes from here. Just swing by some time and we'll be happy to see if it will fit. We are open M-F 7:30am-5pm. Ask for Sean.
