im looking to get 8k's and have a quick question, the previous owner hard wired the cables on the headlight/blinker harness and would like to know how hard it would be to connect the ballast myself ?  THANKS 

The kits are fully waterproof so you shouldnt have an issue due to the rain. The only thing I can think of is either 1. a connection came loose somewhere or 2. your stock connectors were exposed and blew a fuse. So just check your connections or fuses it should be either or.
