painted metallic projector shrouds, satan black housings (automotive grade paint.. didn't cheap out for my customer) looks amazing in person -- i'll get the finished pics up for you guys as soon as the weather gets better!

 

I ordered my pre-wired 12V blue leds to play with. I got a total of 10, so I'm thinking I'm just gonna put 2 leds in each projector, and just have the extras to play with. But I will be referring to this DIY when I do it. Also doing the STi lenses and changing the bulbs to 6000K, as well as replacing the city lights with led bulbs, and probably doing a simple paint scheme with color-matching the projector shrouds to PPW, same color as the car.

Where did you get the STi lens' at?

 

I haven't ordered them yet, but I'm gonna get them from the retrofit source. They have awesome deals on ebay...

No problem man. My blue LEDs just came yesterday too, I ordered a pack of 10. Look pretty legit! I can't wait to get the lights cracked open and set everything up. I'm also thinking about how I will place the switch somewhere in the cabin.

Just wondering, how did you power up the lights without plugging them into the car? Very interested in what you used.

What does painting the housing do? Just darken the inside of the light, and can someone post a pic of where you mount the LEDs

 

looks good. i blacked mine out two years ago. headlights stopped working 6 months ago. water slowly accumulated on the pass/side. luckily i had an extra set laying around. back to stock...
