This little upgrade has been sitting around for ages, i wanted to clean out the footwell before i took photos. That didn't happen, but here i present the 380RS pedal upgrade, with some basic direction to perform this nice basic mod
Nissan 380RS accelerator pedal, a special edition of the 350Z made by Nissan in Japan.

Here is the stock pedal setup.

You need to insert a flat blade screw driver here, then twist gently.

That should remove the clip, don't worry if it flies off, just make sure you find it.

The pedal should now hinge downwards, just slide it off to the side to remove the pedal from the shaft.

This is the clip from the back, it just fastens around the shaft and clips to the back of the pedal.

Turn over the old pedal and locate this plastic insert, we need this also.

Insert a the flat blade screwdriver here and twist again.

You'll be left with this piece which has a hole in one end for the accelerator shaft.

Here is the stock pedal on the left with the new RS380 pedal on the right.

And again, turned upside down.

Insert the plastic piece with the hole facing outwards.

And simply slot back over the accelerator shaft again and flip the pedal back up.

Squeeze the clip back at the top. Make sure it clicks on tight.

i know its probably just for looks, but did you feel any difference at all on the foot? More comfortable/uncomfortable. Normally I would buy this just because it looks better, but wondering if there is anything more to it lol thanks

Heh, it's not for looks, but it does look good, like the stock pedals.
It's to more easily enable heal'n toeing when downshifting. The stock pedal placement does not easily allow this method, this brings the edge of the pedal closer to help.
As for feel, other than the above added assistance, it feels just like the stock pedal.
