Personally, i think the whole 'Puddle Light" thing is quite a silly and cheesy feature they're putting on new cars. In case anyone doesn't know what I'm talking about, puddle lights are lights that some newer cars have whereas when you open your door, a little light shines down on the ground, usually with the car logo for added spazass. They sell the Puddle Light kits separately as well.

But, I thought of an idea... Me, being an owner of a brickyard Z... I wanted to go for a Decpeticon theme (corny i know, but i have my reasons). The brickyard does come off a bit 'purple' sometimes, i feel the decepticon theme is fitting.

My idea was to mount a Puddle light with the decepticon logo, somewhere on the Grille of the Z so that the logo would shine unto the road, and figure out a way to wire the lights to a toggle switch so that they can be turned on or off when i want.

I have a basic knowledge of wiring, but i can't figure out a good way to mount it securely AND professionally..... Any ideas?

 

drill and screw and call it a day. fyi, its illegal to have it running on public roads.
