Smile Installing Recaro Sportster CS in a OEM-like position

Ok, let me start this by saying that this will not be for everyone, I went through a lot trying to install my seats in a way that would be symmetrical in height and side to side position.
No brackets available will do this, they will ALL compromise. The closest to perfect will be the Recaro brackets, but they sit pretty high, higher than stock.
In this thread, I will not have extreme details, more of a comparison and what I had to do to get the seats in a position that I liked.

*This is the seats as they sit with the Recaro brackets.

*How they look from outside.

So I started with the Zakustech brackets, they had to be modified, and positioning the seats at the lowest most symmetrical position requires solid mounting the passenger side.
Moving the seats toward the center console like stock will require cutting the buckle tabs and attaching the buckles to the seats themselves.

*Brackets as they come.

*Comparison of Recaro VS Zakustech height.

*Rails I made to mount the passenger side seat.

*Rails attached to seat and notch made to seat frame.

*Final state of the brackets

*Left is what I improvised to mount the buckle and right is the bolt it is replacing.

*How bolt goes into buckle and buckle attached to seat.
Doing this requires several specific things, including boring out the hole in the buckle. The spacers were also very specific, I can provide info for these if someone truly wants it.

*Final seat positions!
Will follow up with some pictures of how symmetrical everything sits afterwards.

The metals used for the rails/spacers were 1"x1" square tube, and 1"x1/8" flat stock.

Magnificent write up, exactly what I have been looking for.
I was about ready to purchase authentic recaro seat brackets and rails, but am quite glad I didn't hearing that they sit higher now
I assume the bracket with the square tube is passenger and the one with flat spacers painted black is driver?
