I recently ordered some from another website (nismoparts.com), and they told me that the new logo'ed NISMO mats would only fit the '06+ models due to a slight difference in design. Basically, that NISMO wasn't making the new logo'ed mats to retrofit the '03-'05 models. I got stuck with the old NISMO logo (closed "O")!? Is this true!?

Also, mine don't have the plastic square piece in the middle either...

Nope, there are separate part numbers for 03-05 and 06-07.
