Has anyone fitted this on a base model? Thanks.

"This gas pedal is a direct replacement for the factory unit, and installs in just a few minutes"

the quote is from z-1 performance...i believe this would fit all models

Yeah, I think there was some debate earlier about it, but no one ever posted. I'd love to see someone with a base chime in.

local customer with an 08 enthusiast, whcih does not have aluminum pedals from the factory, installed it. Not sure about earlier base model cars as I don't know anyone who has one - I suspect the pedals in all models install the same way

Thanks. That's the answer I was looking for. I've got an 08, so if it worked on his, it should work on mine. PMed you for a shipping quote.

pedals are arriving any day - not too many left so get your orders in now. This is likely to be the last shipment we get for the month of July!

It's the same for all models.

I have a 2004 base model, and I installed the stock aluminum pedals.
If those fit, the RS pedal will fit.

If stock aluminum fits base,
and RS fits stock aluminum, then
RS fits base

So, I don't think this is true across the board. I've got an 08 base. I ordered one and went to install today. No dice. There is no reuseable metal clip and hence no way to keep the pedal on. Just figured I'd post up about it.

So how did you take the pedal off? Pics?

We ammended the description last week - apparantly there are couple of different setups. As mentioned we have a couple of local 08 owners (both manual trans cars) who don't have factory aluminum pedals, and theirs went straight in. I don't know the breakdown on model year, etc. If your car looks like the pedal assembly in the pictures we posted here and on our blog, you're good to go. If not, you'll need to purchase the pedal backing "pad" and plastic clip from the dealer.

I don't have the Nissan part #'s handy but you can take the above to your local dealer, and ask for the parts labelled # 18014 and 18014+A. Again, these are not the Nissan part #'s they are just the #'s in the diagram.

Thanks for the diagram. That should be helpful when I go in to the dealer. Here is a picture of what my pedal looked like. I'll double check tonight though and see if I'm not missing something. (And sorry to thread jack.)

That should be the same thing though. That is the clip right there, the black plastic piece.
