About 42" is what Corbeau says. However, it all depends really. If your not as wide but more thick than it is a bit different.

That should be more than enough. How does that compare to the regular width? What is their waste measurement?

Looking at about an extra 1" of width on the wide. So, up to a 40" waist on the non-wide version. And yes, both will fit in the Z. Measurements have been made before.
