the short hub is intended to bolt to the quick release. To use it directly to the wheel requires a separate adapter, which comes in various thicknesses ranging from 10mm to 30mm

Quote for the steering wheel 330mm, quick release, and anything else I would need. Does that steering wheel come in a darker blue threading? I've seen one around like that. I mention this because I am doing an LED mod with blue LEDs on my speedometer and other meters (changing the facing to white from the stock orange/yellow) Do you think the blue speedmeters/meters and red steering wheel would clash, color wise?
Any possible suede option?

not sure what steering wheel you're referring to. There are no options for color or material beyond what our site has listed
As far as the color, too much matching is just as bad, if not worse, than some contrast. So, if you're doing a steering wheel with a red stitch, then perhaps carry that over a bit with one of our red stitched shift boots and tie it all together cleanly. Coordinates, but not overdone

Or, just go with a wheel with more neutral stitching, such as just black, like:
http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...or&prodid=2473
http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...or&prodid=2461
or several of the Momo wheels

Great advice, I think I will go with the exact setup you have in the initial post. I will look through the site and send you an email, Adam. I'd like to get this stuff soon so I might be trying to buy today.
Cheers,
Mike
