Two Questions...wheels and suspension
for reference i have an 03 track model
Question 1:
I have ordered the Hotchkis springs and sway bars... after install, i plan to get an alignment. is this all i need to do????
Question 2:
also, has anyone ever heard of ADR Design Wheels?
My question is, i like the looks, but im worried about weight. I am sticking with 18 in wheels but wanted a different look. So,
how much do the Rays wheels on my car weigh??? Are the ADR wheels heavy as hell? How much heavier?? Basically, I want my car to look a little different, but I dont want to sacrifice very much performance OR spend 2k on a set of wheels. any ideas?
So many questions i know. Any advice from those who REALLY know what they are talking about. No guesses please.
Thanks!!
here is a link to the adr wheels that i'm talking about.

1. yes, an alignment should be all you need. drive around for a week or 2 before you get the alignment to let the suspension settle.
2. no idea. but you can take the rays off your car and weigh them. then look for the specs for the adr and see how much they weigh. tire rack gives you the tire weights if you input the size you want and look at the specs tab.
just my bias, but most aftermarket wheel will weigh more unless they're a high quality manufacturer, ie expensive. OEM wheels are OEM... but they have to pass a manufacturer's tolerance, quality, and durability standards to get on the vehicle. some of the ghetto wheel manufacturers don't have to pass squat. and they're heavy cast aluminum. the rays are quality stuff.
edit: oh yeah, i'd keep the rays wheels. but that's the luddite engineer in me.

thanks for the advice on the waiting period before the alignment.
about the wheels, i agree. the cheaper wheels prolly are heavy as hell. if i were gonna spend a few more bucks, i should prolly put wider tires in the back. i wonder how wide i can go back there. thanks guys.
