Unhappy Kinetix Camber arm problems!

I recently purchased Kinetix rear camber and toe arms for my z. First I noticed that the camber arms did not have a bend in the rod, like the factory arms and the arms pictured on the kinetix website. Also, when I attempted to install these parts, the outer "U" mount for the camber arms were too narrow to fit over their attachment points on the stock suspension. I didnt even bother trying to install the toe arms.

Have any of of experienced these same issues?

I've emailed and called Kinetix and have recieved no response.

Sounds like you may gotten a bad set or maybe for the wrong car. Try contacting them again.

kinetix changed their design of the camber arms to be straight instead of bent. this will have no effect on performance or function. they did this to make them easier to manufacture.

i have installed about 6 sets of the camber arms, and every set has been tight on the "U" mount portion...just bend it out, and then tighten it up to bend it back. don't go crazy with the bending.

It seems like the "bend" in the factory camber arms was there to prevent it from hitting the rear sway bar. Have any of the cars you installed them on experienced the camber arm hitting anything?

thanx for the replies

OK i got the camber arms installed. But how the hell do I remove the factory toe arms (radius rods)? I got the 2 bolts out, but I dont see how I can remove the arm without disassembling basically the whole rear suspension.

any advice?
