Default New back tires swaying

I called my guy at goodyear (not where I bought my tires and he suggested lowering the tire pressure. The place where I bought the tires from had them at 51psi I lowered it to 38. I wonder if it could be the brand of tire or something else. Is this happening to anyone else?

They are stupid. They probably saw where it says 51 psi is the MAX PSI and set it to that. That was pretty dangerous as when the tires get warm the PSI goes up and would easily go over 51 psi. I would set them at 32 - 35 psi if OEM size and 35 - 40 psi if we are talking about tires with a smaller sidewall.

That is pretty stupid considering when I checked the max pressure on the toyo 235/50/17 is was 44. I lowered it down to about 34-35psi and it seems to be riding better. Might try and lower it a little more, you know how FLA weather messes with the tire pressure. The only solution they were able to come up with at the garage was buy the original bridgeports which I wasn't that impressed with.
