Default Crawford Strut Bar vs others...

Hey All! I'm looking to purchase a Crawford Plenum and I see that I will need to replace my existing strut bar with a new one... I see that Crawford offers one for $155 and I was just wondering if this was highly suggested by all you Z owners...

Are there any other Strut bars that I should look into over the Crawford or is it the best bang for the buck?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!! thank you!

with the aftermarket plenum i think the only strut bars that will fit now are crawford and stilllen.

after having my Crawford SB, i think i might switch to the Stillen only because the crawford is rubbing on my hood. i don't know why. i know its not from engine movement during hard acceleration becuase i have the engine damper on my car to prevent engine movement. when i look at it, the strut bar just barely clears my hood and i assume what little movement the engine does, is enough to create a contact between the bar and hood.

the bar now looks like crap and the hood has two blac k spots where the bar hits it.

Ahh thanks for that input Losing Grip! Do you happen to have the link to the Stillen that you bought... I went on to there site and I see only the Stillen sway bars for under the car...

i haven't bought it yet. i am considering it. right now a strut bar purchase is pending only because i can't figure out if its the Crawford SB causing the rubbing/damage or something else. in which case if it is something else i might have to look at possibly fixing that and then will decide to go with either one. if it turns out to be the car, ill buy the Crawford again becuase its cheap, looks good, and I KNOW the quality can't be beat. Stillen is good quality, but i think crawford i better.
