Default Tein Flex Leaking?

Anybody here ever have Teins leak on them before? I bought a used set of the Flex model about 2 months ago but didn't get around to installing it until last week. Now I have a puddle of clear oil dripping from my driver side front strut assembly. Time for an overhaul?

Yes, they will need to be rebuilt if they are leaking.

are you sure its from the strut? reason i ask is the Flex is not inverted, so should not be leaking from the bottom.

is the case wet?

It looks like it's leaking right above the threaded area and the whole thing is drenched in oil. Haven't taken it off yet to take a closer look and I'm surprised how much oil are in these things. I'm talking about excessive amounts of oil just in the last 3 days.

What's the average turnaround to rebuild these things Adam?

if you've just seen signs of leaking they've probly been degrading for some time. Same thing happened to my jics 3 day shipped them 2days to fix 3 days to home and they feel much better now.

when you take them off make sure you have them over a tampon because mine gushed when they came off!
