Default Air Ride Suspension?

Any one using this?

I talked to a rep at Air Ride Technologies. I asked if they were working on a set-up for the 350Z and he said that I was only the 2nd person to ask. They have no plans of developing a system for the Z unless their is some significant interest. I've also asked Praxis the same ? and received the same response.

So right now it looks like Air Runner has the only 350Z Air Ride Application.

Is there interest here for Air Ride Suspension? Please post your thoughts.

I don't know many Z's at all that want to put air ride in their car. But, to each... his own... good luck with your mod.

I would be interested in a good performance driven air ride suspension setup. I'm not sure that rommel350z realizes that there are very good performing air ride suspensions out there. I know I read an article in SCC mag where they put one on a WRX or Evo I believe.

It was probably a Praxis system, if you go to their website http://www.praxissystems.com/ you may view videos on the system. They seem like a hot setup, you can adjust ride height, damping and spring rates with the touch of a button. The weight of the actual air springs looks to be comparable to a coilover with the biggest sacrifice being the addition of the compressor and air reservoir which are smaller than what most people preconceive.

This is not like the set-ups that you see in mini-trucks, way more compact. These systems are engineered to handle both on the street and track. This is more than just a way to slam your ride. I would love to be able to have a stock like suspension setting for daily driving with a factory ride height with the ability to push a button when I get to the track, show, cruise-in or whatever and have my car lowered and ready to pull some G’s.

If we are able to show these companies some interest, it could encourage them (Praxis and or Air-Ride) to develop a system for the Z and G.

Air-Ride, Air Struts are sold with just the struts this way you may run the struts on their own, set the air pressure as desired and you are good to go. With this configuration you would not need an on-board compressor and air reservoir. You can add the compressor and air reservoir as an option if desired.
