How do you adjust Tokico shocks in the rear?
I just got my Tokico shocks installed yesterday. The mechanic guy said for the rear i have to take out the shocks to adjust them. I heard someone say on this forum that you have to jack up the car. Is there any other easier way to get to it? Can it be accessible from the trunk under the plastics? thanks~
The mechanic is right, you need to remove them to get to the adjusting ****, since you have to insert the tool to adjust them. I think you would have to drill some holes if you were to try to access them from above - not easy.
It's not that hard to remove the shocks for adjustment. You can do it in less than 10 minutes per side with a jack and the right tools.

you can buy part number T00100 which is basically a D- Spec adjuster entension. You actually have alittle hole in the trunk, but it will need to be enlarged a but, then you just stick this out of it. Its a great tool for only $30 bucks im surprised more people dont have it. We have some in stock, so if your interested let me know.
Thanks for that info, I have been riding on setting 1 turn from stiff for a couple of months becuase I was too lazy to readjust them.
It is not hard to adjust them just a little bit of a pain specially if you are going from stiff to softer as it is harder to pull the shock down when it is on a stiff setting, but ican be done by jacking the car up and also with the wheel still on.
