Anyone useing this kit? Been eyeing it for a while and might buy it when the cash falls in my lap. Please give reviews.

not a bad kit, would definitely notice improved pedal feel with the lines and fresh fluid...

Not a big fan or either drilled or slotted (Unless you want the bling effect)

Neither help braking performance with modern pads, and the slotted rotors eat up the pads much quicker...

i would buy the fluid, lines and pads and skip the rotors

I was just looking at those kits last night. Definitly plan on getting one of the 2 when I need front brakes. Only 6k on the car so far, hopefully I can withstand all the brake dust untill theres no more pad left.

Its a great kit especially for street driving or more aggressive street driving...

THe Hawk HPS pads are virturlly dust free... They lack the initial bite of the factory brake pads, but far less dust...

The Stop Tech pads and Rotors are going to last you longer then your factory rotors...

The Motul Fluid will give you a higher boiling point to your brake fluid, so you can abuse your brakes more... harder stops etc...

The Brake Lines will give you a little more solid brake pedal feel...

We also offer a couple of other kits... The PNP Stage 2 includes NISMO Brake Pads which are almost dust free like the Hawk HPS pads but have even greater initial bite then the factory pads... These pads are great on the street and even for some track use as well as auto X...

Personally I would get this kit by RB. For an extra $200 you get 13" rotors instead of the stock 11.5" ones. And they are slotted, and includes all mounting stuff to extend the stock calipers, and SS extended break lines.

What about the stage 1 kit? It includes everything except the rotors.

stage 1 is alright as well...

but, most likely, if your pads have some wear on them, most likely you cant turn down the rotors...

Well I think I'm going to go w/ the slotted rotors. Correct me if I'm wrong but drilled/slotted rotor can not be turned?

If you're worried about performance, when the rotors get to the point they need to be turned down then replace them. Otherwise they'll heat up faster and be more prone to warp.

Jason, you said that the StopTech rotors will last longer than stock... do you have a ballpark figure for their life expectancy? I have 22k on my OEM rotors, and I was told by the dealer today that the rotors will need to be turned (also pads just started squeaking a few days ago). Do you think the StopTechs will last longer than that?

it all depends on your driving habbits...

most likely your 22k on yoru OEM rotors will not beable to be turned down since they will be just at or below their thickness tollerance after they are turned...

best thing will be to do it all at once...

I had my stop tech rotors for 40K and were turned down 2 times... still had a little more life on them... before i put on my BBK

they saw a few track days and me daily driving every day...

So there is no problem turning slotted or cross-drilled rotors, as someone mentioned above? Which did you personally use, is there one that would be better for daily driving? I never track my car, if that makes a difference, although I may consider the odd autocross in the future.

NO problem turning drilled or slotted rotors...

I prefer Slotted and is what I used before... Drilled will crack if you abuse them hard enough...

We offer kits with other pads...

That's not quite true.

If your pads are outgassing, which all pads do when pushed to their limits, the slotted designed or drilled will clear the gas away faster and thus reduce fade. Fade resulting from the gas build up between the pad and rotor.

They help braking performance if you are pushing your pads to the limit. Which people interested in such a kit might do.

I suggest slotted only for their longevity if you are one of those who like to light your brakes up frequently. The holes can and will eventually cause micro fractures that will lead to nice cracks and then...POP.

I have this kit with the slotted and the performance is very good for aggressive street driving. They will last about 2 laps at the track though.

Jason, how did your stage 2 upgrade perform at the track compared to your current big brake kit? I'm just trying to see how much fade resistance stage 2 would give. Thanks.
