You think I have "Tire Feathering"?
When I first bought this Z (2004), steering wasn't as spot on as I liked... Got alignment, and it made things good.
That was like a year ago, and then a couple of weeks ago... Driving on the hwy, steering felt a little funny... Kinda soft and some unusual feeling in the steering wheel... Along with it sorta pulling to the right.
So yesterday got under the car and bam...

That is the picture of the front left tire, completely cought me by surprise since I was just under the car maybe 4 or 5 months ago and things seemed fine.
Here just to show is the front right tire...

There is still tread left, but funny wear pattern... Kinda bumpy looking around the tire... These tires have 20,000 miles on them.
Anyway made my appointment with the closest Nissan dealer and I have my Nissan letter that describes the unusual wear pattern/sound, along with brushing my info back up by reading the "Tire Feathering" threads just in case
Now hopefully they won't give me any crap about my modifications (which there are none to the suspension just under the hood and in the interior), and give me two new tires for the front
So if you guys start to feel something funny with your steering check it out... Cause if I didn't check, man I really wouldn't want to think what could have happened... Steering was feeling really crappy lol.
