Finally Installed Apexi N1s
First off, i am now tucking my wheels, the suspension is set way too low, and ill have to raise it back up but i will get pictures of it as of now in its current setup.i didnt have a camera around to take pics of the install process, but i will do a little write-up
Step 1
6 14mm bolts on strut tower and 2 14mm nuts
plastic clips, 1 on passanger side town, 2 on driver side.
remove strut tower bar
Fronts (the hardest part)
remove wheels
removed 3 12mm nuts on strut top on each side
remove the nut holding the brake line, remove the rubber grommits holding the TPS wires
17mm bolt and nut connecting the lower portion of the strut
(heres what i did in no way scientific)
Now step onto the brake and jump on it to losen it up hopefully pull the struts from their seat
now take the cotter pin out of the stud from the upper ball joint connecting to the A arm and remove the 17mm nut and let the assembly drop down, now to get the strut out you will have to push the brake assembly down and pry up...
Now re install the new pieces, make sure you measure the correct distanceson the coilover...
Rears:
remove wheels,
remove 17mm bolt holding strut into place at bottom, then remove the upper 2 screws, and then remove 17mm bolt and nut on spring perch allow it to come free from arm and kick it down to loosen until the spring falls out, now pull out that rubber piece on both top and bottom and reinstall new pieces in reverse order...
ill go into more detail when i change my ride height and while its on the lift at 350evo ill get a few pics, BJ is goin to align it this week.

Hey, sent pm... I'm looking to get a set of these as well, wondering how the install went. You got them from intense, how much where they? Do they come as a set of four, do you leave the rear springs?

MI 35th, omfg those coilovers drop LOW! I've been seeking the lowest Japanese brand coilovers available and it seemed HKS was the lowest set I could find, but now that I've seen your APEXi N1 setup, I'm proven wrong. Do you still have thread to drop lower than that, or is that at the bottom thread already--in the back is my greatest interest, as many coilovers kits for the 350Z don't lower the rear very much?

(Don't ask about my wheels I don't want to see them everywhere! Buy what you like!) / (Front) 19x8.5 with Toyo T1-s 245/35/19 / (Rear) 19x9.5 with Toyo T1-s 275/35/19[b]
