Default Rear OEM brembo ??

If one would convert from OEM-non brembo rear brakes to OEM brembos, you just need the calipers, discs and brackets, right? The mounting points match and the master cylinders are identical in track and non-track Z's, right?
Thanks...

The backing plates are different. Some people cut them off. You can also buy the correct backing plates.

I did it and it is easy.

The calipers bolt on using different bolts in the rear, I used new bolts all around to be safe.

Buy the Brembo aftermarket discs if you don't have discs they are way cheaper and probably better, available in drilled or slotted your choice.

The Stoptech SS brake line fits onto the rear caliper directly witout using the bracket the factory uses to support the rear brake line.

Trim away the rear backing plate with snips. You can replace with the correct ones, but you will have to pull the hub off the 1/2 shaft with a puller.

Use the front backing plate that came with your non-Brembo.

Master cylinder the same Brembo and non-Brembo.
