Default ksport kontrol coilovers?

I noticed these coilovers on the intense motorsports website tonight, and I've never seen them before. Normal price is $1400 but they are on sale for $895 so they definitely caught my interest. Considering my current debacle with my tokico stuff (I was set only the dampers, not the dampers AND springs that I ordered. *** import later changed their website to say that the dspec suspension kit only includes shocks, so I have no way to prove it) I'm thinking about sending them back and just shelling out the cash for a set of actual coilovers. Has anyone used these, or have any more information? Monotube coilovers with adjustable damping for $900, seems like a pretty good deal.

Do a search on "ksport" and "D2". Read the threads and come to a conclusion. Honestly, for the range of under $1000 I'd go with the Tein Basics. Stiff but not unreasonable spring rates (9kg) and pretty decent dampening. Good for the casual tracker who still daily drives the car.

...or the Stance coilovers that I did a write-up on the other day. $1295 MSRP for monotube and dampening is not overwhelming like on the D2 or K-Sport.

Me thinks the best way to put it is, "underwhelming dampning with overwhelming spring rates".

If you want $1000 coilovers, buy used or buy Stance coilovers new from Eddie @ THMotorsports
